Friday 14.06 / 15h30 The grooms guided tour of Tarifa

For those who desire to have an old town tour of Tarifa with a twist of personal stories, you are welcome to meet at 15h at the hotel Punta Sur or at 15h30 at Puerta de Jerez. We will most probably go straight to Demente at the end of the tour for the next activity of the day.

Friday 14.06 / 18h Welcome drink on the beach at Demente

For guests arriving before the weekend, we will have a welcome drink starting at 18h at the chiringuito (beach bar) called Demente.

Saturday 15.06 / 15h - Ceremony at the Chapel (meeting 14h at the Hotel Punta Sur)

The ceremony will be held at a little chapel in the hills of Tarifa. We will meet at 14h at the hotel Punta Sur before driving all together up to the chapel. The ceremony will be held outside of the chapel, so we recommend to wear hats and sunglasses

Saturday 15.06 / 17h30 Aperitif, 20h dinner and 22h30 party at Hotel Punta Sur

Tucked away between two Natural Parks, between sea and mountains, Punta Sur is more than a hotel, it’s a true hidden gem. Its innovative cuisine seduces with delicious dishes, its bungalow-style rooms are all spectacular, spacious and bright and shine for their exquisite decoration. Guests may enjoy extensive subtropical gardens, a large swimming pool surrounded by lush vegetation and a tennis court.

From 20h and the start of the dinner, kids are not planned in the program. They will be able to get food during the aperitif.

Hotel Punta Sur

As the dinner and party are located at this hotel, you can choose between an accommodation close to the hotel or in town of Tarifa. It is fairly easy to get around by car or taxi.

Other accommodations

Tarifa offers a wide range of hotels as well as camping grounds if anyone is joining by camper. As June is a popular month to travel to Tarifa, we would recommend to organise your accommodation as soon as you know if you are attending.

Transportation

How to get to Tarifa

Tarifa is at the most southern tip of continental Spain and located just next to the British Gibraltar. The easiest way to get there is to fly to Malaga. From Malaga, you can either rent a car or take a bus to Tarifa. You will need less than two hours by car and it will take you 2h30 by Bus.

Hotel Punta Sur

The hotel is located 8 km out of Tarifa, by the beach. The taxi from Tarifa to Punta Sur should be around 10-15 euros.

Chapel

To get to the chapel, we will meet at Hotel Punta Sur at 14h to join the convoy up to the Chapel.

Chiringuito Demente

The Chiringuito is on the beach and 15 min walk from the old town. There are several parking possibilities around that area for those coming by car.

Dresscode

Given the potential warmth in Tarifa this time of year, and weather permitting, our gathering will predominantly take place outdoors. We encourage an elegant and light Bohemian-style wedding attire. Don't forget to bring a hat and sunglasses, especially since the ceremony will be conducted outside the chapel.

Children

If you want to bring your children, we are happy to have them join at the ceremony. As the dinner in Spain might start late, we don't plan to have children joining for dinner and the party. We will create a Whatsapp group with babysitter information, please let us know if you want to be part of it.
